Description
A travelling salespony who carries a surprisingly large pack with him. One wonders how he doesn't tip over with every single move he makes. Within this pack of his is a menagerie a artifacts, relics, and other magical items of historic or intrinsic value. Some are simply fun, and others are incredibly dangerous.
He is a average sized gray stallion typically seen dressed in a brown trench coat, a red scarf about his neck, and a red-trimmed hat out of which hangs his small blue braided mane.
At time he seems to not be altogether there, his ears cocking as if he hears something somepony cannot. Authority figures make him nervous, mostly because he has had to escape them on occasion for a ruckus he inadvertently raised from an item he sold. He does not place any of the blame on himself for such things. He does not sell such things without great warning, and typically prefers not to. The right price can change his mind on that, of course. He always greets a customer with a happy smile that seems completely honest and true, but still seems to conceal something, as if he knows something you don't, as if he would tell you if you were simply to ask.
He grew up in a land far away from Seaddle with a passion for history and for collecting it's treasures. Items from cultures far and wide drew his interest, and so he collected them and sold them to others who he deemed to be interested in such things. Spices, masks, ritualistic items of mundane and arcane nature. bought with money he legitimately made. It drew him out into the world, and so he left his home behind and began his search, taking leads on where to go and what to look for from rumors and myth and histories complete and incomplete. Perhaps, at some point, however, his thirst for treasure and history he dug too deep. Unearthed things that should not have been known. It drove him mad. Of course, the face of a madman would have been bad for business, and he learned to hide it. A mad salesman wearing a happy mask.
Of course all his merchandise was either found by him or bought with money he legitimately made from his sales. Where he bought some of those things, however, is a different story.
Now his travels draw him to Equestria, and one of the many stops on his list is Seaddle.
